In addition to her time with FHL, Berg-Hansen is on the board of Aker Seafoods and has also worked for Cermaq group feed company Ewos. She replaces former minister Helga Pedersen.
“Congratulations Lisbeth,” said a jubilant FHL Managing Director Geir Andreassen, who was first off the mark to congratulate her.
“This is just extremely positive,” he told IntraFish after it had been officially confirmed that fish producer Berg-Hansen will be the new boss of the Ministry of Fisheries and Coastal Affairs, where she previously has been a political advisor.
