“I am proud that we have accomplished it,” Fisheries Ministry advisor Jorn Krog told IntraFish.

The event took place at the Russian pavilion at the European Seafood Exposition in Brussels on April 29.

There the new regime was presented by Andrej Krajnij and Krog, the highest ranking civil servants for the two countries’ fisheries authorities.

“This is the first time that we jointly, before an open audience, present the result of cooperation through many years,” Krog said.

The countries have set management regulations for the most important stocks, and are in agreement on mesh width and minimum size.

The
