On Wednesday the company said that it made a loss before tax of NOK 25 million (€3.2 million/$4.6 million) for the three months that ended on June 30.

That is half the loss of NOK 47 million (€6 million/$8.6 million) it had reported during the same period last year.

The company’s revenues also improved, rising from NOK 243 million (€30.9 million/$44.3 million) a year ago to NOK 384 million (€48.8 million/$70.1 million).

The second quarter is typically the weakest quarter for Norway Pelagic.
