More and more women are choosing a career within the seafood industry, according to recent data from the University of Bergen in Norway.

For example, of those studying for a professorship in fish health at the University of Bergen, the female share is 89 percent, while 85 percent of masters students in aquamedic medicine at the Norwegian Fisheries Hygiene School in Tromsø are women.
