IntraFish received a mail from a source that wishes to remain anonymous. The mail claims that one or more Norwegian players are sending salmon via the Philippines to China.
“If the Chinese become aware of this, it could damage future Norwegian exports to China," the mail said.
"There is nothing the Chinese would like better – after the Nobel Prize caused them to lose face before the rest of the world – than to snatch Norwegian players for operating in an irregular manner.”
