Bruaroy opened his address as keynote speaker at the annual conference for the northern Norwegian marine farming association in Tromso, Norway, by saying the industry is in the midst of a reputation crisis.
He complained in his experiences with the mainstream media there have been significant instances with erroneous reporting of facts, the critics do not have a problem having their say and the industry receives few opportunities to reply.
