Frozen foods giant Nomad Foods will phase out the Iglo brand in France, and use only the Findus logo on its products, citing a need to streamline its offerings.

The Findus brand, which Nomad acquired in 2015, has a stronger consumer recognition in the country, Findus France Marketing Director Caroline Nobile said.

In addition to the phasing out of the Iglo brand, the company will also consolidate its product offerings down from 40 to 28.

The iconic Captain Birdseye will also reportedly be phased out and replaced.
