Nomad exec appointed new CEO of Regal Springs as Lamprecht steps down

Regal Springs CEO and co-founder Rudi Lamprecht is stepping down from his role as chief executive of the company, one of the group's key investors told IntraFish.

The company has appointed Nomad executiveAchim Eichenlaubas his replacement.

Eichenlaub joins Regal Springs from Nomad Foods Group, which owns Iglo and Findus, where he served as member of the executive board and as managing director Continental Europe.

Eichenlaub was instrumental in the M&A transaction, resulting in Nomad Foods Group's acquisition of the Iglo and the Findus Group, forming the leading frozen food company in Europe.
