Pacific hake harvester and processor Phoenix Processor Limited Partnership last month appointed former NOAA official John Henderschedt as its vice president and COO.
Henderschedt formerly served as the director of NOAA Fisheries' Office of International Affairs and Seafood Inspection.
Seattle-based Phoenix Processor Limited Partnership operates the Excellence and the SS Ocean Phoenix, which harvest Alaska pollock in the Bering Sea and hake off Washington and Oregon. The company also owns Premier Pacific Seafoods, which sells and markets the product.
