Over the next five years we could be seeing the birth of a new, gigantic industry, said Reid Hole, Dean of the Faculty for biosciences and aquaculture at the University of Nordland in Bodo, North Norway.
Hole is well-known in the aquaculture industry, with 20 years under his belt in the Skretting and Nutreco systems. He ended up as group director for food safety at Nutreco – which produces feed on a global basis for the agriculture and marine farming industries.
