Le Ruz will become CEO of the business unit of Skretting Americas, with responsibility for the fish feed business of Nutreco’s companies in Canada, the United States, Chile and Brazil.
Van Gein, 39, entered Skretting in 2003, and has since then worked as the commercial manager, sales and marketing manager and more recently as the company’s vice CEO.
Nutreco-owned Skretting is a global leader in feed production and supply for the aquaculture industry with a heavy focus on research and development.
Skretting accounts for 40 percent of the global feed demand and it currently provides diets for more than 50 farmed species, such as salmon, trout, gilthead, sea bass, amberjack, turbot, halibut, cod and eel, among others.
