Jeremy Woodrow, the new executive director of the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute (ASMI), told IntraFish Monday he is focused on broadening Alaska seafood's appeal.

The ASMI board of directors on Monday selected Woodrow as the new executive director. He has served as ASMI’s interim executive director since December 2018, and as communications director since 2017.

"As far as goals go, it would be more focusing on the current budget climate and challenges with having a limited budget and a large marketing organization," he said of his plans for the nonprofit.
