National Fish & Seafood exec named president of Sunnyvale

Jeff Sedacca has been named president of Chinese aquaculture group Guolian Aquatic's US division, Sunnyvale Seafood.

Sedacca, formerly a senior shrimp procurement executive at US subsidiary Pacific Andes-owned National Fish and Seafood (NFS), said his group from NFS is transitioning over to Sunnyvale.

Kevin Tang will continue as CEO of Sunnyvale.

The move, Sedacca told IntraFish, will help Sunnyvale grow and allow his sales team to be tied in with a vertically integrated, sustainable aquaculture operation.

"Sunnyvale has a strong  US sales force now, and this will enhance their efforts to grow the US market," he said.
