Karstensens Skibsvaerft at Skagen in Denmark has delivered a new 67.50-meter purser trawler to Norwegian owners.

Rederiet Leinebjorn is run by brothers Andreas and Kurt Age Leine, and the Leinebjorn name has been with the company for more than a century since the Leine family had its first vessel of that name in 1901.

The new Leinebjorn replaces a ten year-old vessel that was built as part of a series and delivered in 2002 that includes Endre Dyroy, Talbor and Svanaug Elise, all well-known names in Norway’s pelagic fisheries.
