Marine Harvest Canada announced Jamie Gaskill as the new managing director for the company's Canadian East Coast division on Thursday.
Gaskill, who is expected to begin in August, has been in the salmon aquaculture industry for nearly a quarter century and has had roles varying from hatchery manager to regional director at Marine Harvest Norway and Canada.
"We feel that Jamie's wide range of expertise will serve us well as we start up on the East Coast of Canada," said Marit Solberg, COO farming at Marine Harvest.
