Jo Dekeyzer, the top executive in Marine Harvest’s European processing business, is being replaced.
Dekeyzer is to be replaced by Maiko van der Meer -- managing director of Dutch foodservice company Royal Smilde Food Group -- as managing director of Marine Harvest’s VAP Europe.
An anonymous source told IntraFish the news. Marine Harvest, the world’s largest salmon farmer, issued a statement confirming the exit.
The reason was not given, and Dekeyzer (pictured) declined to comment to IntraFish.
