Marine Harvest named Alf-Helge Aarskog, CEO of Leroy Seafood Group, as its new CEO. Aarskog will take up his position no later than Oct. 1.
“The board of directors of Marine Harvest is very pleased to welcome Alf-Helge Aarskog as the new CEO of the company,” said Chairman Ole-Eirik Leroy. “He is a well qualified manager with a strong track record within salmon farming and in-depth knowledge about the salmon farming industry.”
His previous positions include executive vice president in Leroy Seafood Group, managing director of Leroy Midnor and head of production in Fjord Seafood, a company later merged with Marine Harvest.
