A federal racketeering lawsuit brought against American scallop producer Mar-Lees' former President and CEO John Lees, Jr., is an attempt to undermine Lees' attempts to gain a commission allegedly owed to him for negotiating deals with retail giants including Walmart and Sam's Club, according to court documents filed earlier this year.
