Clearwater Seafoods acquisition of Scotland's Macduff Shellfish Group marks a new era for the Scottish firm, and one that will greatly accelerate growth, Roy Cunningham, managing director at the firm, told IntraFish.
Clearwater announced last week it reach a deal to acquire 100 percent of the group from the Beaton family and Change Capital Partners, the specialist pan-European private equity fund, for a total fee of £98.4 million (€132.8 million/$151.1 million).
