Atlantic salmon prices in Norway will be seeing a recovery from the sharpfalls in the previous two weeks, rising to levels of between NOK 37 (€4.30/$4.80)and NOK 39 (€4.60/$5.10) per kilogram in the spot markets.
Improving demand, lower slaughter volumes and high volumes expected to besold in the coming weeks are driving prices up, industry watchers toldIntraFish.
"Prices for farmers in the north are expected to hit around NOK 37(€4.30/$4.80) to NOK 37.50 (€4.40/$4.90), and NOK 38.50 (€4.50/$5.10) in the south,"one exporter said.
