Fishing and processing giant Pacific Andes and a consortium of investors entered into an agreement to acquire the Icelandic plants in June -- which traded under the names Pickenpack, Hussmann and Hahn and Pickenpack Gelmer – in June, after IntraFishbroke the story in April.
However, a spokesman for Icelandic’s owners, the Enterprise Investment Fund (FSI), confirmed to IntraFish on Friday that the deal is yet to be completed.
