Salmon producer Sjotroll has appointed Willy Berglund, who is also director of Leroy West, as new managing director.
Leroy West and Sjotroll -- both subsidiaries of Leroy Seafood Group -- are located close to each other geographically so a common leadership is an ideal solution, Runshaug told IntraFish.
In September 2010, Leroy acquired a majority stake in Sjotroll from the Danish feed company BioMar.
Berglund, who was previously deputy director at the aquaculture company Aurora, replaces Hans Runshaug at the head of Sjotroll.
