Larsen Danish Seafood declared bankrupt in Denmark

Larsen Danish Seafood, which reported considerable losses in its last financial year, was declared bankrupt by a court in Aalborg on Nov. 27 -- only 10 days after its German arm entered insolvency proceedings.

Copenhagen-based Elmann Advokatpartnerselskab was appointed as the bankruptcy administrator for the Danish parent, with the company's Senior Partner Finn Lynge Jepsen as its trustee, Christian Tornvig Jensen, lawyer at the firm, told IntraFish.

Elmann is currently in the starting phase of the bankruptcy process, Jensen said, gathering information on the company's activities and assets.
