Larger salmon prices fall as harvests ramp up

The majority of salmon prices are stable this week except for the larger sizes above six kilos, which have dropped to around NOK 40 (€4.3/$4.9), according to industry players.

Producers, exporters and importers are relatively unanimous about where wholesale prices lie for next week, they told IntraFish.

IntraFish has been informed of the following prices:

• Sizes 2-3 kg – NOK 31 (€3.40/$3.80) to NOK 32 (€3.50/$4)
• Sizes 3-4 kg – NOK 36 (€3.90/$4.40) to NOK 37 (€4/$4.60)
• Sizes 4-5 kg – NOK 37 (€4/$4.60) to NOK 38 (€4.10/$4.70)
