A Norwegian husband and wife team sees good potential in Korean oyster aquaculture, and is trying to grow its business there, they told IntraFish in the Busan International Seafood & Fisheries Expo 2011.
The oyster farming business in Korea is substantial, and the Smart Farm system would allow operators to be vastly more efficient, said Bjorn Aspoy, who founded Smart Farm 11 years ago.
“It’s just a matter of convincing them that the increased cost for the equipment will save them money and make them more efficient,” he told IntraFish.
