Projections show a slight downturn for Atlantic in Chile, but also a tiny decrease for trout and coho by slaughtered weight, said Liabo, an analyst for Norway-based Kntali Analyse.
Liabo was a keynote speaker last week at the North Atlantic Seafood Forum conference held in Lillestrom, Norway.
“The forecast is uncertain,” he said, referring to an address last week by Cermaq’s CEO Geir Isaksen in which Isaksen said there would be a substantial reduction in the average numbers of lice per salmon.
