Sales of seafood at UK retail are still falling with no sign of letting up, prompting the question: when will it end?
According to the latest figures from market research company Nielsen, for the 52 weeks to Aug. 15, overall sales of seafood in terms of value were down 1.3 percent year-on-year to £3.1 billion (€4.2 billion/$4.8 billion) while volumes were down 2.2 percent from 340,667 to 333,288 metric tons.
Once again, sales of frozen fish took the biggest hit, falling 3.5
