Grieg Seafood on Thursday announced it had “initiated a strategic process” for its Shetlands’ operation, and a sale of the operation could be one of the possibilities, CEO Andreas Kvame told IntraFish.
SalMar, together with Leroy Seafood, owns Scottish Seafarms. The company has farm sites on the Orkney Islands and the Shetlands in Scotland, but the main operation is located on the Scottish mainland.
