The Chilean salmon sector could be facing a commercial disaster on a level with the infectious salmon anemia (ISA) crisis, said a U.S.-based executive.

“I hope packers will review production estimates,” said the executive, who declined to be named.

Salmon production is rapidly expanding in Chile again, and the executive feels this process could be happening too fast.
