Champlain Financial Corporation of Montreal is acquiring Nova Scotia-based Cheticamp Fisheries International Ltd., a branded seafood processor and wholesale distributor.
Camplain purchased Cheticamp, which supplies snow crab and lobster to the United States, Canada and Asia, from California-based Ascendiant Capital Markets, which was the exclusive financial advisor in this transaction.
Champlain, a private holding company, has been building a diversified private investment portfolio with a series of investments throughout Canada and the United States.
