IntraFish Media on Tuesday announced the start of significant changes to its industry-leading seafood news and information services to mark its 20th anniversary.

As part of the change, the group will rebrand its world-leading print titles -- and their corresponding web sites -- serving the aquaculture, fisheries and seafood marketplace segments. Subscribers to Fish Farming International, Fishing News International and Seafood International will see their next issues rebranded as IntraFish Aquaculture, IntraFish Fisheries and IntraFish Marketplace.

In addition to the sector-specific news and insights they’ve come to expect from the titles over the years, readers will find even more news and interactive features in their new online homes, which will soon become part of the IntraFish.com flagship website.

IntraFish Media Publisher Paal Korneliussen said the company will begin rolling out changes within the coming weeks.

“Our readers and advertisers are going to see a seismic shift in how they get their seafood information and how they reach clients,” he said. “We’re not showing our cards just yet, but we’re convinced the industry is going to be buzzing about the changes, and will find IntraFish to be the one-stop shop for all things seafood.

“Above all, our mission remains the same: inspire excellence in the seafood sector through the best news and information in the business.”

IntraFish Media has a team of 24 full-time journalists across Europe and the United States, as well as contributors from around the globe specializing in all areas of the seafood, aquaculture and fisheries sectors.

IntraFish Media is the world's largest seafood news and information provider, with offices in Seattle, New York, Puerto Varas, Singapore, Berlin, London, Cape Town, and several cities throughout Norway including Oslo and Bergen.

In addition to IntraFish.com, IntraFish Aquaculture, IntraFish Fisheries and IntraFish Marketplace, the company also produces Norwegian-language publications IntraFish.no and FiskeribladetFiskaren, and in-depth Industry Reports on a wide range of topics.

IntraFish also hosts its Seafood Investor Forums twice annually, as well as other events for top-tier seafood executives.
