The journey from Marine Harvest's net pens to the world markets is one that requires advanced logistics, and nowhere is that more evident than its terminal in Ullensaker, eight kilometers from Gardermoen, the Oslo International Airport.

“This salmon was slaughtered at Hitra [western Norway] yesterday. Now it's here at Gardermoen, and later today it will be sent to Hong Kong," Tom Erling Mikkelsen, who is in charge of the terminal, told IntraFish as he guided us past pallet after pallet of fresh salmon.
