Industry veteran Mike Berthet to retire after 32 years

Industry veteran Mike Berthet will retire at the end of March to focus on his new role in the Global Aquaculture Alliance’s Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) division, the long serving purchasing director of M&J Seafood told IntraFish.

Berthet, who started his working life as a chef before joining M&J Seafood in 1984, told IntraFish he will "hang up his boots after 32 years on the front line.”

Berthet will now have more time to focus on his new role with the Global Aquaculture Alliance’s Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) division as BAP’s market development manager for the United Kingdom.
