IFFO, The Marine Ingredients Organisation, has appointed Executive Director of Marine Ingredients Denmark Anne-Mette Baek as its new president. She takes over from New World Currents' Eduardo Goycoolea at the start of next year.
Baek also heads the international association of the European fishmeal and fish oil producers, EU Fishmeal, and has been a member of the IFFO board of directors since 2014.
Gonzalo de Romana has been named vice president. Romana is CEO of Peruvian fishmeal and fish oil producer Tecnológica de Alimentos (TASA) and has been a member of the IFFO board since 2018.
