Sold under the brand, Isfresk, the fish skinless and boneless portions have no additives and consist of farmed salmon, cod and halibut.
They will be launched as a trial in six stores belonging to the retail chain Meny in Oslo, Icefresh said.
Formed by several veterans of the marine and fishing industry, Icefresh is backed by leading Norwegian entrepreneurs and investors including former Ewos boss Johan Fredrik Dahle among its backers.
Its fish are frozen pre-rigor, while transport and storage is carried out at minus 40 degrees Celcius.
