If we look at the earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT), Grieg earned NOK 58.16 (€7.41/$9.36) per NOK 100 of company sales. Salmar earned NOK 56.06 (€7.15/$9.02) per NOK 100 (€12.75/$16.10) of sales.
If we look at another key figure -– EBIT before biomass adjustment -- the picture turns around slightly.
