Innovex Aquaculture Technology produces specially adapted underwater cameras and gauges for oxygen content, sea temperatures, salt content, water current direction and current strength.
Their products are not for sale, only for hire. In 2012, its revenue topped $1.2 million (€899,550).
Innovex is a young company, founded in 2007 with three local partners. The factory is located in the Chilean salmon capital of Puerto Montt and has 28 employees.
“This is the first time we have been here in Norway and Trondheim," its COO Gonzalo Santamarina told IntraFish during this week's Aqua Nor show in Trondheim.
