Rod Hepponstall is just one year into his role as High Liner CEO, and while he’s clear-eyed about the challenges the company faces, he’s also confident about the group’s return to organic growth and improved profitability.

Hepponstall is new not just to High Liner, but to seafood. While the executive came to the group with 25 years of experience at other major food firms, including ConAgra, Maple Leaf Foods and Lamb-Weston, he’s put the majority of his time in year one getting to know the business, and getting to understand the root of the challenges that have plagued the company.
