UK importer and foodservice supplier Shield Foods UK reported a strong 2013 financial year, growing its sales 15.4 percent from £9.7 million (€12.2 million/$16.3 million) to £11.2 million (€14.1 million/$18.8 million).
The company, which supplies gourmet frozen seafood to more than 300 customers in London's foodservice sector and counts top restaurants such as Nobu, Hakkasan, Roka, Zuma, Novikovand Cipriani and popular sushi chains to its clients, saw its gross profit jump from £2.2 million (€2.8 million/$3.7 million) to £3.5 million (€4.4
