Bensenville, Illinois-based distributor Fortune Fish Company is acquiring JDY Gourmet, a niche food supplier for a wide range of Midwest chefs and retailers, the company announced today.
The acquisition will give Fortune Fish, a company with sales of over $75 million, access to a huge slate of JDY's existing customers. JDY supplies niche food products to high-end customers such as Macy's and the Four Seasons Hotel Chicago. Customers include the Art Institute of Chicago, Chicago Hilton and Towers, and the Tap House Grill.
