Mike Mitchell, former corporate social responsibility (CSR) and technical director at Grimsby-based seafood processor Young's Seafood, launched firm Fair Seas earlier this year.
The firm, which was incorporated on Sept. 29, 2015, and as of Dec. 8, 2015, is an active private limited company, is the "vehicle which will allow me to focus on some specific projects which interest me and which I think are important," Mitchell told IntraFish in an email.
He will focus on three primary areas, he said -- seafood sustainability, product integrity and social justice in fishery supply chains.
