Industry veteran Mike Mitchell, former corporate social responsibility (CSR) and technical director at Young's Seafood, launched his new advisory firm Fair Seas late last year, and is already working with one of the UK’s major retailers in a bid to tackle issues blighting seafood supply chains.
Mitchell announced his departure from Young's in late October, and while he continues to work for the processor in an advisory position on the board, he launched his new business to focus on certain elements close to his heart.
