A top sales executive with Danish whitefish specialist Sirena Group has struck out on his own, and hopes to carve a niche in the European trading segment.
Sirena Area Sales Manager Rasmus Schmidt started his own fish sales company, Ocean Fiskur, in July without backing.
"I love the fish business being in it for many years so I couldn't see myself leaving it but I wanted to try something new, which is why I started my own business," Schmidt told IntraFish.
