Olafur Olafsson, the former majority shareholder in Iceland Seafood International (ISI) and a former large shareholder in Alfesca, has taken control of ISI’s South Korea-based Asia business, sources told IntraFish.

Two sources close to the company confirmed that Iceland Seafood, a trading business based in Busan, South Korea, is no longer part of ISI and is now under the control of Olafsson.

Olafsson is among four executives charged in Iceland as part of a probe into the collapse of Kaupthing Bank, in which he was the second-largest shareholder.
