UK police and other enforcement agencies carried out a major operation in Scotland and north-west England in response to allegations of foreign fishermen and fish workers being exploited.
They carried out raids on business premises, fishing vessels and homes mainly in Scotland's Dumfries and Galloway region, but also in Peterhead.
About 150 officers from police forces in Dumfries and Galloway and Grampian regions, the UK Border Agency, the Scottish Crime and Drug Enforcement Agency, the Serious and Organized Crime Agency, Maritime and Coastguard Agency and Marine Scotland were involved in the swoop.
