Hugh’s Fish Fight is set to return and shrimp looks to be a focal point.

I got an interesting call last week from a researcher working on Hugh’s Fish Fight, the television program presented by UK chef Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall.

Fish Fight caused quite a storm in the UK when it was on last year, particularly for its focus on discards in the EU and on its push for retailers to source more pole-and-line caught tuna.

The researcher had read our stories on Asda having to pull shrimp supplied by Cumbrian Seafoods because it sported Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP)-certification, but was from non-BAP certified farms.
