Last week, Grieg Seafood’s general meeting elected Firda Seafood owner and CEO Ola Braanaas as a new member of the board of directors for a period of two years.
“I was asked if I would consider a seat on the board, and after thinking it over I said yes. I think this will be both stimulating and informative,” Braanaas told IntraFish.
Braanaas said he doesn’t have any financial exposure toward Grieg, and his seat on the board will not lead to any closer cooperation between Firda Seafood and Grieg Seafood.
