FHL still waiting for official confirmation on Russia's market opening

The Norwegian Seafood Federation (FHL) is still awaiting official confirmation by Russia’s veterinary agency Rosselkhoznadzor that six companies have been granted access to the Russian market via Belarus' reprocessing sector.

"We haven't received official confirmation yet," Trond Davidsen, deputy director at FHL, told IntraFish on Monday afternoon, after it became public that Marine Harvest Norway AS, Sjotroll Havbruk AS avd. Brandasund, Martin E. Birknes Eftf AS, SalMar AS, Slakteriet AS and Vikomar AS have been granted access.

"We have received the same information as IntraFish but you cannot take it 100 percent for granted.
