After reporting an average NOK 5 (€0.64/$0.84) drop in Atlantic farmed salmon prices last week, industry sources IntraFish talked to this week are telling the story of a continuing drop in prices.
On average, prices are predicted to go down NOK 2 (€0.25/$0.34) to NOK 3 (€0.38/$0.51) next week, but there are considerable variations between the different sizes.
A generally well-informed source reported a price of NOK 42 (€5.30/$7.10) for sizes 5+ as little large fish is available. A second source placed prices even higher.
