Farmed salmon prices: Another stable week

Prices of farmed Norwegian salmon for deliveries of week 19 are stable, industry players told IntraFish this Friday.

Norwegian exporters’ troubles with Russia do not seem to have affected the market, one exporter said. ”Demand is good and everyone is rejoicing,” he told IntraFish.

He gave the following price averages for fresh Norwegian salmon this Friday, FOB Oslo:

• 3-4 kilos: NOK 26 (€3.44/$4.53)
• 4-5 kilos: NOK 27 (€3.57/$4.7)
• 5-6 kilos: NOK 27.50 (€3.64/$4.79)

Another exporter said fish of more than 6 kilos are selling for more than NOK 28 (€3.7/$4.87)
